The JE80 horizontal features a huge 31.5" workcube for large parts and/or fixtured parts weighing up to 1,320 lbs.

The JE80 has been "time optimized" whereby all systems and subsystems have been optimized for maximum performance within 1/10-second. The huge Fanuc 35.4 hp, air- curtain protected CAT #50 spindle accelerates to its maximum 7,000 rpm speed in under 0.9 sec, and is capable of rigid tapping to 4,000 rpm.

Also available is a state-of-the art, twin-cooled 13,000 rpm unit proved out at more than 15,000 hours of continuous service. A through-spindle coolant option is also available. The twin 24.8" x 24.8" pallets are changed in under 10 seconds, and indexed 90¯ in 2 seconds. Rapid traverses are 1,417 ipm, with tool-to-tool exchanges in 1.8 seconds from the standard 40- pocket magazine. Extremely heavy duty construction provides unparalleled rigidity providing 0.00008" full stroke position, and repeatabilities of 0.00004".
