EV-530
Vertical Machining Center
The
EV530 vertical machining center has been designed to tackle the
toughest milling jobs in high- tensile materials, yet maintain the
ability to produce mirror finishes in lightweight alloys.
The
machine features extremely robust construction with heavily ribbed
cast iron bed and column, super rigid linear guideways, and
over-sized, pretensioned and slip-coupling protected ballscrews. The
standard 6,000 rpm dual-wound 29.5 hp CAT 50 spindle features an
extremely flat torque curve across its entire speed range. Optionally,
a 10,000 rpm direct drive spindle is available. Rapid traverses of the
43.3" x 21.7" table are 1,260 ipm, full stroke positioning
accuracy is within 0.00012", and repeatability is 0.00004".
Tool changes from the 30-tool bi- directional, random-access magazine
are via a servo-driven toolchanger.
Additionally,
the fully guarded machines feature dual bed-mounted
"auger-type" chip conveyors as standard equipment. Control
is via the latest YASNAC J-Series CNC featuring custom macros, a
full-keypad, and swiveling operators' panel. Enhanced ergonomic design
places the center of the table within 19.1" across and 37.7"
high, for ease of load/unload.
