: BOST VTL CY Series | Moving-Table Vertical Lathes
The BOST VTL CY series builds on the VTL platform by incorporating a moving table with a Y-axis function. This additional movement expands machining flexibility for large and complex components.
The design supports five-sided machining and the machining of eccentric features in different positions within a single setup, subject to the selected machine configuration.
More Machining in a Single Setup
For large components, repeated setups can introduce handling time and positioning challenges. The VTL CY's moving-table arrangement is designed to provide additional access and flexibility when machining complex workpieces.
The Y-axis movement also supports safe, ergonomic loading and unloading of large and heavy components.
