For large slewing bearings and similar components, grinding capability can be just as important as turning accuracy.

The BOST VGM C series is designed to combine turning, drilling and milling operations with dedicated grinding capability in a single machine platform.

Integrated Turning and Grinding

 Dual-RAM arrangement in which one RAM is used for turning, drilling and milling, while the second is dedicated to grinding. The machine is equipped with a magnetic table.

This configuration is intended to support the demanding requirements associated with large bearing production and related components.

• Specialized double grinding-wheel heads for double-row slewing bearings.

• B-axis electrospindle grinding heads.

• Grinding wheels up to 650 mm in diameter.
