BOST VTH C Series | Extra-Large Vertical Turning

When component diameter and weight move beyond conventional

vertical turning applications, the BOST VTH C series offers a single-column

heavy-duty machine architecture designed for demanding workpieces.

The series includes configurations intended to accommodate large turning

diameters, with the VTH CU arrangement offering a published maximum

turning diameter of 16,000 mm (630 inches).

VTH CY and VTH CU Configurations

VTH CY — Moving Table with Y Axis

Designed to provide access for workpiece loading and unloading while supporting the specified machine's machining requirements.

VTH CU — Moving Table with U Axis

Designed to achieve very large machining diameters through U-axis table movement.

The appropriate configuration depends on the required turning diameter, component geometry, table load, turning height and access requirements.

The 16,000 mm turning diameter applies to the VTH CU configuration. The other maximum values are series-level published figures; not all maxima necessarily apply simultaneously to one machine.
