The Gurutzpe GHD series, represents an engineered solution specifically designed to comprehensively address the challenges inherent in the machining of large rotors.
Conceived as a robust and versatile platform, the GHD
integrates several of the advanced technologies to offer high-precision machining capabilities for extremely heavy parts.
A highly rigid bed and headstock structure, optimized through finite element analysis, minimize deformations under load.
The hydrostatic guiding system on the longitudinal (Z) and transversal (X) axes ensures smooth and precise movements
when handling heavy components. This technology, provides the best accuracy in positioning and repeatability, as well as superior damping of vibrations generated during cutting, which contributes to improved surface quality and extended tool life

GHH Flat Bed Lathe Main Characteristics

The configuration of the GHD allows for the integration of multiple machining units, including powerful turning heads
capable of efficient roughing in high-hardness materials, milling units and grinding heads.
These units may also be equipped with a full B axis, to reach complex geometries.
This multitasking capability significantly reduces the need to move the workpiece between different machines, minimizing
clamping errors and total cycle times.
